Mr Miller & Mr Porter have been working together since 1987. Their first commission was the children’s science programme Panic Station; their second, Art Attack, went on to become one of the longest running shows in children’s television, winning many awards, including a BAFTA. The show ran for 19 series in the UK and Disney commissioned seven further series in eight different languages for international transmission in 105 countries, for which they wrote over 15 hours of music.

Their work has not been confined to children’s television. They have scored dramas and documentaries including
Cause Of Death, You Only Live Once, Every Time I Cross The Tamar; prime time game shows and LE including Lucky Numbers, Find A Fortune, The End Of The Week Show, Brat Pack; comedies such as Zig & Zag’s Dirty Deeds, as well as commercials for Kellogg's, Birds Eye and Classic FM.

Music for children’s television has remained their speciality and they have produced theme tunes and incidental music across a wide variety of genres: Big Barn Farm, Escape From Scorpion Island, Twister, Brilliant Creatures, Finders Keepers, Motormouth, What’s Up Doc?, Weekend Morning Crew, The Disney Club, Holly & Stephen’s Saturday Showdown, Basil’s Swap Shop, It’s A Mystery, The Quick Trick Show, You Can Do Magic, You’ll Never Believe It, Fingertips, Eureka TV and many, many more.

They have also provided music and sound design for several stage shows:
Who’s Afraid Of The Big Bad Dark, Brighton The Musical, These Girls, Bull, Angelo Abela’s Squash! and designed the sound installation to accompany Mark Power’s award-winning exhibition The Shipping Forecast – a photographic celebration of the great British institution of the same name, which was seen in over twenty galleries throughout Europe.
